Unfindable

Terms of Service

Last updated 7 November 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Unfindable website, mobile applications and related services (together, the "Service") provided by Tekodot Ltd, and by creating an account, joining our waitlist or otherwise using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.

1. About us

Unfindable is operated by Tekodot Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a private limited company registered in Northern Ireland, company number NI724147, with our registered office at Unit 1 Weavers Court, Linfield Road, Belfast, Northern Ireland, BT12 5GH. You can contact us at hello@unfindable.me or at that address.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service, which is for your personal, non-commercial use only.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep access to your email account secure and hold only one account, and you are responsible for activity under your account that you carry out or allow, or that results from your failure to keep your sign-in secure.

4. The Service

The Service searches publicly available sources for information that appears to relate to you and presents the results, with links to their sources, in a report (your "Report", called your file in the app), but we do not remove, change or request the removal of any content on your behalf. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, and if we discontinue our Watch subscription (section 6) we will not charge you for any period after that date and you may ask for a refund of the unused part of a period you have paid for.

5. You may only search for yourself

You may only use the Service to search for yourself, using your own name and details, and you confirm this each time you run a search. You must not use the Service to search for any other person, including a partner, former partner, family member, colleague, employee, job applicant or tenant.

We are not a consumer reporting agency, and you must not use the Service or any Report to make decisions about any person's eligibility for employment, housing, credit, insurance or any similar purpose.

6. Free search, subscription and payment

Each account may run one free search, which shows a limited preview of the results. Our monthly subscription ("Watch") opens the full Report for each of your searches and runs a new search about every two weeks, at the price shown in the app before you buy. Watch renews automatically each month until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings before the renewal date, and deleting your account does not cancel it.

If you cancel Watch, Reports from searches run while you subscribed remain available and new searches stop at the end of the current period. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are also subject to the terms of Apple or Google.

7. Refunds

Refunds for purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are handled by Apple or Google under their terms, which also set out any right you have to cancel a purchase, and if a payment is refunded, access to the Reports it opened ends. If you reserved a Report on our website before the Service launched, the terms of that reservation continue to apply to it.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

9. Reports and third-party content

Reports reflect publicly available information found at the time a search ran, and we do not guarantee that a Report is complete, accurate or current, since it may omit information and may include information about other people, such as people who share your name. Reports link to and quote third-party websites that we do not control and for which we are not responsible, and the Service does not provide legal advice.

10. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own the Service and all related intellectual property, and subject to these Terms we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your personal use. Third-party content in a Report remains the property of its owners.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, but nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, for any business loss, or for content published or actions taken by third parties, and our total liability to you in connection with the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and £100. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any similar law where you live.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify us against any claims, losses and reasonable costs, including legal fees, arising from a third-party claim caused by your breach of section 5 or section 8.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, and we may retain and disclose information relating to your account where we suspect a breach of section 5 or section 8, or where the law requires it, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law, in the Service or in how we provide it, and when we do we will post the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date and, where the changes are material, give you reasonable advance notice by email or in the Service. For subscriptions, changes take effect from your next renewal; if you do not agree to them you may cancel your subscription and stop using the Service, and continuing to use the Service after they take effect means you accept them.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, nothing in this section takes away any protection of the law of the country where you live that cannot be excluded by agreement, or any right that law gives you to bring proceedings in your local courts.

17. Apple App Store

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, these Terms are between you and Tekodot Ltd, not Apple, and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claims relating to it, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or intellectual property infringement claims, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms who may enforce them against you.

18. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect, and our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation, provided this does not reduce your rights, but you may not transfer yours without our consent. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, and except as stated in section 17 no other person has any right to enforce these Terms.

19. Contact
